Many thanks to everyone who took part in our Food World Cup competition recently and to everyone who voted in our poll to select the winning entry. We have received over 500 votes in this poll, and we are delighted to announce the winning recipe: Iranian Chicken Tah-Chin, submitted by Mina Tahsiri. Mina wins our £50 restaurant voucher, but has generously offered to share her prize by dining out with the other finalists. Mina says: “As someone who truly enjoys learning other cultures, the Food World Cup was an opportunity to give others with a mutual interest a taste of Iranian culture and so Im very glad that the Tah-Chin recipe attracted interest in our cuisine and culture. The Iranian culture also teaches that good food is that which you share with others. I would therefore like to invite the other three participants of the Food World Cup finals to join me in celebrating another cultures food with the vouchers kindly gifted by the International Office.” Congratulations Mina! And thank you to our other finalists: Diana, Lucia and Tiago, and to all our other participants in the Food world Cup competition.
