Many years ago during a long rescue transport to get a Belgian Malinois to a new home, my van broke down near this stretch of highway. I will never forget the fact that a law enforcement office stopped to help me promptly and even relayed a message to the next waiting transport driver several miles away. I am so sad to think that anyone doing the right thing would be having to risk their life. At that time this officer didnt have any suspicion of me, nor should he have had. However, with such depraved killers out there unpunished, is any of us safe and will we still be able to get the prompt and helpful service from these officers on courtesies? Please spread this around as you feel its appropriate to do so. And pray for the safety of those still working in this home front war on crime and all involved in their lives.
