March 7, 2014 FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Chief Steve Anderson today announced the promotion of two sergeants to the rank of lieutenant effective April 1. Sergeant Virginia Carrigan, an eight-year police department veteran who is currently assigned to the Training Academy, and Sergeant Danny Haley, a 16-year police department veteran who is currently assigned to the West Precinct, will assume new precinct-based leadership roles. Carrigan holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Cumberland University. Haley holds an Associate’s Degree from the University of Kentucky.
