I just think this is so important -- please check out the video, and Marias words here: Recently I have been posting more on prosperity gospel, which I am discovering has even infiltrated the lives of people I thought to be faithful in the church. It is frightening to me to see people fall victim again and again to the serpentine ways of false teaching. Paul Washer, John Piper and John MacArthur, all expert biblical preachers and faithful guardians of the faith (not perfect, but walking the walk) all comment in this 15 min video on the prosperity gospel and specifically Joel Osteen. They quote Scripture frequently and their various points all lead to the same conclusion. Do not take Osteens teaching lightly, friends. We are called to pay close attention to what we allow into our lives, our hearts and our thinking. While some of you may find this controversial, the Holy Spirit has really lit a fire in me to play my part in reviving an authentic Christian church.
