Mariyan - A slow paced love story with few adventurous scenes. First half - tells about, how dhanush ends up at Sudan as a coolie. Director has taken the whole first half to portray the love between the lead pair with some not so impressive scenes. 2nd half - The great escape from Sudan terrorists and the long run in shara(?) desert. Dhanush goes through all the pain in the world there. And the not so impressive love sequence of 1st half motivates him to do so.. Even though dhanush does his best to cover all these, screen play betrays him throughout.. Once watchable for dhanush,ARR score and few Sudan scenes. Director didn hav the strong screen play to back the extremely talented crew.. Best thing is at the end of the movie when everybody is keen getting out, they play "innum konja neram iruntha enna" :-P
