Mark 5:30-34 (NIV) “At once Jesus realized that power had gone out from him. He turned around in the crowd and asked, “Who touched my clothes?” 31 “You see the people crowding against you,” his disciples answered, “and yet you can ask, ‘Who touched me?’ ” 32 But Jesus kept looking around to see who had done it. 33 Then the woman, knowing what had happened to her, came and fell at his feet and, trembling with fear, told him the whole truth. 34 He said to her, “Daughter, your faith has healed you. Go in peace and be freed from your suffering.” Many of us have read this story; if you are one of the ones, who haven’t read it, read Mark 5:21-34 so you can understand the context. Many follow Jesus, many believe in Him, but few are willing to touch Him. The woman of the story needed to be heal, she needed to be saved from her sadness and depression caused by her years of bad health. This woman took the opportunity and went for it, she decided to go and touch Jesus. Jesus knows when we touch him; we can touch him with our prayer, we can touch him with our song, we can touch him with our tears. Are you willing to touch him? (IL)
