Mark May 1st in your calendar! The Metlakatla Wilderness Trail is opening again for the season! We just got the great news that there will be a guided birding event this year (date to be announced so keep a close eye on the website) and you surely dont wanna miss this one. Plus there will be a self-guided archaeological tour and the trail will beopen for camping this year (registration required). So get your hiking boots ready and safe $5 on the trail admission when you stay at the Pioneer Backpackers Inn.
