Prime Minister Netanyahu thanked the Jewish community abroad for their enduring support, especially in recent months. He also talked about Israels ongoing economic prosperity. Yet at no point did Netanyahu thank our communities of color in the big and small cities whose tax dollars over the years went to help Israels economy and military buildup instead of our own barrios and neighborhoods. Sure we didnt have a choice. And if it were up to us we would not have contributed a penny. But weve been giving Israel billions a year. So as hard as it is to admit this, youre welcome. But keep your appreciation. Were not really happy about that at all.
