Mass non payment, thats what we all talking about and it seems a lot of people are happy to do this and for the ones that are unsure or afraid, well we are going to give them the right information and education, so we will be knocking on doors and calling more community meetings, we will be reaching out to people not on fb. This is brilliant and hopefully with the correct information it will empower people and they will lose the fear, that this government has tried to instill in so many of us, they will stand up and say they will not pay and most importantly they WILL not pay. But I think we need to bring it to other peoples doors and give them, the right information and right facts, its time to educate the well-off, the comfortable, the wealthy, the ones that seem ignorant of how bad our country is. Inform them of how bad the homeless situation is, give them lists and numbers of how many people are facing their homes being repossessed. I bet most of them dont even know there are food banks in Ireland. Lots of homeless groups being set up to help the homeless and are doing brilliant work, do the well off know that its our friends and neighbors setting up these support group, and not the government, and it definitely was not the government who made sure every homeless person in Tallaght and any area made sure they had somewhere to go for Christmas Dinner, and their workload is getting bigger and bigger and still the government has not assisted in anyway. Do the wealthy know how many families are struggling, just to put food on the tables never mind pay for heating and bills. How could they understand about people been on trolleys for days in hospitals when they only go to private ones. Do these people know how many children are walking around with holes in their shoes or who have no heavy winter coat. How could well off people know that community projects are struggling to stay afloat and its the communities keeping them open by fundraising and giving out of their own pockets. Its the people that dont have much that are giving to the people that have nothing. We not asking the wealthy for their money, we are asking them for their compassion, their knowledge of what many many others are suffering, for them to see and understand how others are so badly affected by these austerity measures and for them to acknowledge things need to change and most importantly for them to make a stand and unite with these people and tell the government enough is enough. This is everyones fight now. Power to the People for 2015.
