Nottinghamshire had a very slow start and found them self’s on the back foot defending very deep and constantly trying to withstand Ruddington’s high pressure. Within the first 10 minutes Nottinghamshire FC realised who was Ruddington’s danger man as the pacey and skill fill right winger was bombing on taking on Nottinghamshire F.C defence and making a lot of dangerous crosses but just couldn’t make that last pass count. More of the same was happening for the next 5 minutes and eventual after 15 minutes of play came a fine attacking move for Ruddington created by their lethal right midfielder opened the score line and made it 1-0 to Ruddington Village, Alex Richards Nottinghamshire F.C captain was furious and voiced his opinions to his team and tried to snap his team out of trance. The game gets kicked off again and still Nottinghamshire F.C are not playing to their potential, giving away soft free kicks and making silly passing errors from 5 yards. 20 minutes have been played and now Nottinghamshire F.C are starting to battle tackling with passion just like Ruddington started the game, Lewis Margeson got brought on after 20 minutes and Jardell made way on the left wing back, Liam Smallwood was dominating the centre midfield for Ruddington Village at this point and started to get into Jordan Walkers head, Loui Farmer was now raging in midfield and something clicked this was a turning point for Nottinghamshire F.C. 25 Minutes played and Ruddington was on the attack Sammy Dunstan (ST) was running at Callum Capstaff (CB) and Callum done well to push Sammy Wide for a goal kick, Rory takes a goal for Nott’s and finds Matt Commander, Commander wins the ball in the air and makes a fantastic flick on which left Alex Russel accelerating away from the Ruddington’s defence and placed a beautiful shot to the goal keepers right hand side and equalizers to make it 1-1. A couple of minutes later Nottinghamshire played some very attractive football starting from the back line Alex Richards playing the ball into Jordan walker who then finds Alex Russel, Alex Russel lays the ball off to William who runs at the defence showing his power, Alex Russel makes a great run and loses his defender but William just holds onto the ball too long and ends up shooting and goes out for a goal kick Alex looked frustrated as he made a fantastic run losing his defender again. Ruddington get game started and 35 minutes into the 2nd half Ruddington started passing and moving and looked to drive on Liam Smallwood passing the ball well with Ted Squires and linking up with Sammy Dunstan and his strike partner trying to get shots away and Nott’s find themselves being really deep again, Sammy Dunstan’s strike partner has a great shot at goal and Rory manages to tip it over for another corner. Another cross gets put in and Liam Smallwood find himself again un-marked gets up and heads the ball and hits the post should of done better and you could see he was kicking himself. 40 minutes played of 2nd half and William came off as a sub and matt commander come back on making some great passes, a lot of play between both teams in the centre of the park, 43 Minutes played of 2nd half and Ruddington press forward with the CB leading the attack he tried to play a through ball and got caught out.
