Match report for UEA v ARU: The Pirates welcomed the 1-2 Anglia Ruskin Rhinos to Colney on Sunday for the first game back after xmas. The game started slowly with both Ben Painter and James Rushmere, in his first start, intercepting Anglia Ruskins quarterback and UEA being forced to punt. Eventually the Pirates punched one in and took a 7-0 lead into halftime. The Pirates came out firing in the second half with Patrick Marchington & Henry schoen running it in for touchdowns and Ben Painter picking off the Rhinos quarterback for a second occasion. Ben then got his interception hat trick, with another in the 4th quarter, as the Pirates gave everyone some playing time. Mark Nicholas (aka Mark2) then bulldozed his way in for his first touchdown of the year, before Matt Ball kicked his 4th extra point of the day. The Pirates won 28-0 and move to 4-0.
