Match report vs Dryden (friendly) Great game played in good spirit against one of the contenders for the div 3 title . And you lads made sure that they will remember the day they played the titans . Straight from the off we were at them not letting them settle on the ball and knocking the ball round as if it was a ginger kid in the playground . The back 4 was exceptionally good not letting them look at our 18 yard box let alone the goal . And after some great play from our forward line Steven Bowman turned there centre back inside out before curling a corker into the top corner. Only for the ref to blow for an earlier free kick . A free kick that Damian Makwana tucked in without even his team mates knowing 1-0 . Its was soon after 2-0 with bowman latching on to a great Harry Leigh pass . 2-0 at half time but could have been 2-1 if it wasnt for The monk making a great double save just before ht . After making many changes in the second half the team still kept up the great effort. And kept working hard for each other . Soon to be rewarded again after another Damo ( the German whip ) free kick was spilled by the keeper and Harry ( the head ) finished it off 3-0They got back into the game with a simple goal then bowman added a forth to put us at eas again 4-1. Then they scored a scorcher wich if it wasnt for the net would still be going down new gate lane now 4-2 . Too little to late for Dryden and a great win before the season starts for the mighty titans .
