An immediate opening is now available for you to join the Project Team and take on the responsibility for the following areas: On daily basis, scan the truck manifest and email to it to the Logistics Co-ordinator On a daily basis, assist with the coordination of deliveries to site Ensure materials handling and traceability programs are in accordance with the QA/QC program. Operate the telehandler and forklift Organise the release of materials from storage in a safe and efficient manner Log locations of material Assist with the reconciliation of materials Manage the reordering of materials Organise the storage of all materials in a safe and efficient manner prior to issuance to sub-contractors. Assist with the management of the contractor material distribution program including all material transfers and releases Undertake materials audits as appropriate Assist in the management and tracking of supplier performance for early identification of potential risk and determination of actions necessary to ensure supplier commitments are fulfilled Assist in resolving vendor/contractor grievances, & claims against suppliers Liaise with internal and external stakeholders such as logistics coordinators, procurement team members, site construction personnel and contractors to ensure the efficient and effective distribution and issue materials. Ensure that all Health Safety and Environment requirements for responsible areas are met and liaise with the Project HSE Manager to promote a safe and positive work environment Perform other duties as assigned by the Site Manager and the Project Director To ensure your success you will have demonstrated experience with materials handling, warehousing and or logistics, be experienced with the use of computer based document management systems and have the focus and ability to work in a project environment. In addition you will communicate effectively and enjoy the opportunity to adapt to changes in the role and site processes to further enhance project outcomes.
