Matt Harvey Division Semi-Finals Game 2 Results: The Transporters drops high-scoring affair to RCV Home Improvement, 22-20 Twenty-one hits werent enough for The Transporters as it lost a shootout, 22-20 in seven innings, to RCV Home Improvement on Saturday at Jones Beach (West Field). Gary Passik racked up six RBIs on four hits for The Transporters. He singled in the second inning and tripled in the first, fourth, and sixth innings. RCV Home Improvement hammered The Transporters pitching as eight hitters had a field day, combining for 28 hits, 18 RBIs and 20 runs scored. Kizo Li took the loss for The Transporters. He allowed 14 runs in five innings, walked none and struck out none. RCV Home Improvement scored three runs in the second inning, and then followed it up with three more in the seventh. The Transporters answered RCV Home Improvements top inning with four runs of its own in the second. The Transporters scored on a groundout by Richard Varon, a two-run single by Gary, and an RBI single by Matt Frost. The Transporters scored one run in each of the third, fifth and seventh.
