Matt Lauer,s His interview with Paula Deen was not an interview it was a lynching by him . He became judge and jury over this very congenial woman Paula Deen,s racial indiscretion , which we are all guilty of at one time or another regardless of race , some say whup , whitey, Niger ,whatever in most cases a slip of tongue , in most cases a simple apology is enough . Matt Lauer is more than aware of this , he himself inadvertently has use the N word according to his cameraman , and he demanded of him never to divulge this , and my realizing only too well it was a slip of his tongue and we as humans are not perfect and I simply drop,t it until now . I will say I am shocked by his incriminating questions to Paula Deen over the slip of her tongue , he became judge and jury over this gracious woman and made very sure the proverbial rope around her neck was very tight . Matt Lauer needless to say you came off with your viewer,s of Paula Dean as a tactless phony , when you yourself are guilty of the same indiscretion, only with nobody bringing it to the attention of the general public . Shame on you Matt Lauer I believe your interview with Paula Deen will haunt you for a long time , and you will always remain a cowardly phony in the eyes of many people from that day forward , Sorry Matt you can not unring a bell
