Matthew 10:32-33 Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven. But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven. At one point, Jesus asks His disciples, Who do you say that I am? As we consider this question in a personal light, we are confronted with who we say Jesus is in the midst of other people. Friends, co-workers, family, strangers, enemies, or those who just happen to be able to hear us when we speak. Jesus represents us before God the Father, and here He promises to confess us before God if we confess Him in front of others. Be bold, be courageous, speak the truth in love and do not be ashamed of the gospel!
