So today Beck Hodgettsy exactly one third of my world has a birthday (no more no less to those who say that shes my favorite - Diana Hodgetts Gitta Hodgetts) Im not quite sure how she went from this cute little eight year old capable of convincing her elder sister that mud pies were great tasting food to the highly intelligent, formidable young woman capable of making her old man at the same age look like a shy retiring teetotaler (well not quite) Ill always remember those nights and days spent driving to Ballarat, Melbourne, Warrnambool and wherever else there was a hockey game and just talking about stuff and learning more than I gave. I remember the day you left home like it was yesterday. And Ill always hold the feeling of joy when I see you. Heres to one of the smartest, craziest most determined people I know.
