Matthew 5:1-12 King James Version (KJV) 5 And seeing the multitudes, he went up into a mountain: and when he was set, his disciples came unto him: 2 And he opened his mouth, and taught them, saying, 3 Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. 4 Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted. 5 Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth. 6 Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled. 7 Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy. 8 Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God. 9 Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God. 10 Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. 11 Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake. 12 Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you. 1.What make men blessed?2.When and where to say we are blessed?3.Who do you think whose blessed?4.How we be sure we are blessed?5.Now we will learn about THE BLESSED MEN I believe the blessed men could be distinguish in their beatitude or character l.WHO ARE THE BLESSED MEN? A. Blessed men are Godly men. 1.Helpless without God ,having highest faith in God alone. 3 Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven 2.Hurting and broken hear-ted in Gods favor 4 Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted. 3.Humbly meek faithful before God 5 Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth. 4.Hungry and thirst for righteousness or truth more than physical or material things 6 Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled. B.Manly or Humanly. 1. Heartily give compassion and mercy 7 Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy. 2.Highly esteem with pure intention(thought, decisions and action etc. in correct or righteous judgments) 8 Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God. 3.Host of peace(Peace maker or peace maker) 9 Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God. C.Experience of blessed men. 1. Harassh in living for righteousness 10 Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. 2.Hated for telling and living for God sake 11 Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake. 3.Happily excited and hyper active for joy in God have priceless reward for them 12 Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you. D.Rewards of blessed men 1.Bless by heavenly kingdom vs.3 2.Lovingly comported by God vs.4 3.Earthly inheritance vs.5 4.Shall experience abundances vs.6 5.Shall obtain mercy or mercies vs.7 6.Easily see God vs.8 7 Declare to be children of God vs.9 8.Men honor in Heaven vs.10 9.Endurance in hardship for God will be rewarded vs.11 10.Notify to have great rewards in heaven vs.12 The Blessed Men are rewarded because of there beatitudes or characters here in earth and in heaven.
