Mawla or Maula the an Arabic word with different meanning such as protector, ‘master’, supporter, ‘emancipated slave’, ‘helper’, ‘friend’, ‘loved one’ etc but always refer to a supreme power God. A mystic connection between God and human is the primary concept of Sufism. It claims that the word sufi came from the Arabic word Safa means pure or purity.
