The NZ music industry has already established itself as producing super talented songwriters. Many of the singers posted so far this week have won major international song writing competitions and many of them have written numerous #1 hits for other artists like Christina Aguilera and Lady Gaga. One of the artists who produced todays masterpiece did so just months after winning a Grammy for his songwriting and together they both won a Grammy (2008) for Best Comedy Album. Todays video gives us a master class in song writing and shows us that the future of NZ music is clearly in some very safe hands! Feel Inside was a charity song written for Cure Kids Red Nose Day. It went to #1 on iTunes for both the song AND the Album within 90 minutes and in the first two weeks raised over $1.3 Million. But most importantly in terms of Jeremy and Maries NZ Music Month competition, it represents the finest example of a Charity Collusion in music history.
