May I have a few words with you? Beautiful day today! All were festive & just loving the warm sunshine and average temperatures for a change. The Morning Boys were in prime shape as well this eve. Now being a group of older, seasoned gents, they can be a bit rough in their conversation. With that said, it was Darling Darla that rocked the boat. Now Darling Darla is quite a personality for a tweenie. She’s average height for her age and a healthy chubby weight. With her curly blond hair and lashy blue eyes, Darling Darla has the charm of a true traditional Southern Bell gal. The Morning boys were deep in discussion when Darling Darla approached them with a question about her new girly dress and yellow ribbon in her hair. The Bell asked the Boys, “Does this dress make me look fat?” she presented as she did a twirl around to show off her ruffles and fancy buttons. Well, Old Fart woke from his doze., Old Man took aback and Old Grump just looked away and whistled. It was Just Old that fired up Grandma, “Now, that’s a wife-beating question!” Grandma CLP over heard Just Old’s remark and gave him a what-for, “That’s not proper language around such a sweet young lady!” What Grandma CLP didn’t know is that Just Old was on the mark with his statement. “wife-beating question”: A question that presupposes some controversial premise, such that it cannot be directly answered without incriminating oneself; a loaded question. https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/wife-beating_question Grandma is so wise you know…usually ; ~ )
