Maybe, just maybe, in addition to toys the goodly Prime Ministers will fly in her trusty helicopter and give out hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of bullet-proof vests and other mandatory equipment to our essential services officers?! This too will show her and her cabinet colleagues as a caring government working for [us]. Maybe, just maybe, out of the TT$410,000,000.00 that would be divided among the forty-one constituencies for critical needs , she will make it mandatory that the police stations and officers in these same said areas are equipped to do what they are supposed to do. Meanwhile, maybe...just maybe Officer Lochan and the two Telecom security officers need National Awards this year. Officer Lochan needs an immediate promotion and the security officers need instant recruitment into the Police Academy. But maybe...just MAYBE!
