Me and Mike do not plan on getting married anytime soon. I have told him before we get married I would like both of us to have graduated high school and I would like to go ahead and have my college requirements to be a nurse out of the way. We both know to have a successful marriage we will have to both have good paying jobs, a home to live in, and both be mature enough to take on the emotional and physical responsibilities. An engagement ring is nothing more than a promise ring to say we both are going to be fully committed to each other and it also says that we also plan on getting married. It doesnt put a time frame on anything. Nothing more. Nothing less.
