Meath County Council Traffic / Roads Update - Temporary road closure R153 at Burtonstown to faciltate road works - The closure will be effective from 8:00am to 5:00pm on Tuesday 14th October to Friday 17th October 2014 and also on Monday 20th October 2014 from 8:00am to 5:00pm Notice is hereby given that Meath County Council has made an order to close the R153 at Burtonstown to its junction with the N2 at Balrath Cross This closure is required to facilitate road works. Duration The closure will be effective from 8:00am to 5:00pm on Tuesday 14th October to Friday 17th October 2014 and also on Monday 20th October 2014 from 8:00am to 5:00pm Alternative Routes Travelling east on the R153 towards the N2 turn left onto the R150 in Kentstown village and travel to its junction with the N2 at Brien’s Cross/Curtis Cross. Travelling west on the L-1610 towards Navan turn right onto the N2 and continue to its junction with the R150 at Brien’s Cross/Curtis Cross. Turn left onto the R150 and continue through Kentstown village to its junction with the R153. Turn right towards Navan. Travelling north on the N2, continue straight past Balrath Cross and travel to its junction with the R150 at Brien’s Cross/Curtis Cross. Turn left onto the R150 and travel through Kentstown Village to its junction with the R153. Diversion signs will be in place.
