Mechanical Engineer - Up to $4000 - North East - REF: DL1003 Position : Mechanical Engineer Location : North East Working hours : 5.5 alternate Saturday. - Option 1: 8am to 5pm (Mon - Fri) and 8am to 12pm (Saturday) - Option 2: 8.30am to 5.30am (Mon - Fri) and 8.30am to 12.30pm (Saturday) Salary : Up to $4000 Duration : Perm Main Responsibilities: Reporting to the Assistant Manager – Maintenance, the responsibilities include but are not restricted to the following: - Taking charge of the maintenance department and leading the team - Planning and scheduling for preventive maintenance for all machinery and facility equipment; - Ensuring all facility and machinery are in working condition and regular servicing is carried out; - Ensuring all designated equipment calibration and inspection are up-to-date; - Upgrading machinery when necessary to increase productivity and eliminate safety hazard; - In charge of vendor and part sourcing; - Overseeing the overall waste-water management activities and disposal; - Operating M3 system. - Ad-hoc duties Requirements: - Diploma in Mechanical/Mechatronics Engineering - At least 3 years of related experience - Good knowledge in mechanical and pneumatic system - Basic knowledge in electrical - Ability to interpret pneumatic and electrical diagrams - Ability to perform hands-on job Bilingual in English and Mandarin to liaise with Mandarin speaking associates.
