Media Matters hates FOX News – and Rush Limbaugh, too! I’m Lynn Woolley with your Logic Minute for 5/7/14 The liberal watchdog website takes an occasional break from slamming FOX News to go after people like Sharyl Attkisson, late of CBS News or ABC’s Jonathan Karl – for asking tough questions. But Media Matters really wants to bring down Rush Limbaugh, who typically ignores them. But after senior fellow Eric Boehlert proclaimed Rush’s show a ratings failure in Los Angeles, San Francisco, and New York – a Limbaugh program spokesman fired back. He says Media Matters quoted audience numbers that were NOT Rush’s – and only clarified that point later in the story. Note that Rush has changed stations in these markets and it will take a while for his fans to find him. If these new dial positions take any toll at all on Rush’s ratings, Media Matters will crow.
