Medical GPs dont come cheap here in NZ. Bedridden all day yesterday, Derryn called a doctor to our hotel for me. A brief 15minute visit and a dose of antibiotics cost $355. Ouch. Diagnosis - Influenza, the real influenza he said, not a few cold like symptoms which people term the flu. Apparently this is rare here these days. I started to come down with this at the airport in Sydney. I dont know how I got it, dont care just want it out of my body now. Back to bed.
