Meet County 12! These sweet faces have been in this kill shelter - TopicsExpress

Meet County 12! These sweet faces have been in this kill shelter far too long. How? I have no idea. They are just babies and are precious. There were 3 of them, 2 males and a female. One of the males was fortunate enough to be adopted. Thank You Lord. Now these 2 need to find their family. Take a look at the video. Do you enjoy watching them play like they have no care in the world? They do no realize they are in a high kill shelter. They do not realize tomorrow may be their last. They are just living in the moment. I remember not to long ago a similar situation. There was a brother and sister (the tears start) playing together without a care in the world. The were also babies. They were adorable. I was there that dreaded morning when they were dragged one by one to the truck to be taken to be PTS. That is a day that no matter how hard I try, I can not get those images out of my head. As the tears roll down my face and my heart hurts all over again for those babies I wonder why? Why them? They were barely 6 months old. Just moments before they were chosen to die the little girl played for me to see. She rolled on her back, legs in the air as if to ask for a belly rub. I had no idea of what was about to happen. I took pictures of her. This would be the picture that would catch a adopter or rescues eye. This picture would save her. This was not the case. Within 30 minutes of that picture she was dead and so was her brother. I beg you please do not let these 2 have the same fate. There is a temporary foster available if there is a rescue interested. We had rescues interested in the brother and sister that died that day but they took to long to commit. This is a high kill shelter that will kill to make space for new intakes without warning. Here today, gone tomorrow. So please do no hesitate if you can save these babies. Please help me network far and wide. We are the only hope they have. It could very well be your share that reaches the right person. These siblings are located at Coffee County Animal Control in Manchester, TN. For more information call 931-723-2730.
