Meet Ibnee, my Sarawak student, owner of Kafe Iftitah.... Just 4 days ago, he flew in all the way from Sarawak specially to learn Garlic Butter Rice and Ayam Masak Merah from me at my school Sitis Delights Pte. Ltd. in SIN. This evening, he sent me a message to announce that he has already started to sell this special dish in his restaurant, starting from today! Masyaallah.... Hes truly someone whos very determined indeed. He was set on wanting to serve different delicious food in his restaurant in Sarawak so distance is definitely NOT stopping this enterprenuer from upgrading his skills! I still recall his expression last Wed when he took the first bite of the Garlic Butter Rice and Ayam Masak Merah that we cooked in the class. His first words were this is worth my long trip here... no regrets! Alhamdulillah.... So to my other friends in Sarawak and other parts of Malaysia, do make it a point to taste this dish at Mr. Ibnees restaurant at Kafe Iftitah Cafe (KIC), No H1, Lorong H, Jalan Api Api, Perumahan Pusaka, Bandar Baru Tanjung Manis, 96150 Belawai ..(abt 1hr from Sibu Town) I take this opportunity to wish Ibnee all the best in his food business and I look forward to seeing him in our other classes, in shaa Allah....
