Megans first full day of occupational therapy was this past Thursday. Later that evening we were messaging one another, and this is something she shared with me: I went to the restroom today! On the toilet! It made me feel the best I have felt in a while... I really respect that John Crapper guy, or whatever his name is, for inventing it. I have been impressed by my daughter many times, and for many different reasons, through the years. And, these remarks encapsulate, for me, Megans innate optimism and humour... her indelible spirit. (Meg, please dont be embarrassed or upset with me for posting this. I am simply in awe of you!)
