Melancholic tonight. I miss the old Dylan before the accident. But I adore the funny comical new Dylan. Who would the old Dylan be today? Tonight we enjoyed visiting with family by the fire pit on a lovely December evening. Dylan blew out his candles and cut the cake that his always thoughtful Aunt Lynn baked just for him. Because Dylan is a man of simple pleasures - chocolate cake, a movie, and the penguin Christmas light now gracing his room. As I tucked him in bed and prayed over Dylan I let him know what an aeesome guy he is. I love my penguin light he replies. Simple pleasures, no worries. I am blessed; all is right in Dylans world. Thank you for all the birthday greetings. We read them all to him.
