Dezzie Howe You know what I have seen this over and over but you guys either make a jugement that someone isnt good enough or they dont fit in you group of friends or make it hard on them to get the PAPERWORK. So now you have a whole group of people that could and would if they didnt have to deal with all the crap. but because of the crap they wont. 6 hrs · Like Melanie Bush Clawson Let me try this again....YES, foster homes require home visits, paperwork filled out, back ground checks, it is absolutely very thorough, as it should be. However, doesnt have anything to do someone not being good enough, or not fitting in to a group of friends It has everything to do with making sure we place the animals in clean, safe, healthy environments. We have however helped animals out if those situations. Are there bad places, unfortunately, yes there are, but you are categorizing everyone that way and not everyone is that way. The HS is working very hard to continue to move forward. They Director position had been advertised and the volunteers ate wonderful. They and the Interim Director are working their butts off to take care of the animals. And the volunteers do not get paid to be there, and some are there every single day. The new board has been seated, and ready to move it forward. I was up front and 2 days later the place you are defiending sent a woman to my house to find out if I took in dogs asked me ? for over a hour before she messed up and said where she was from an hour into it. then she got all upset and left fast and in a hurry. That was on Sept. 7 you can look it up. So if it is going to change then prove it until then I wont believe a thing .And by the way I never said a word about the way the animal there are being taken care of I was only pointing out that you can do all the paperwork have the checks done and still not do the right thing. So if your all doing everything right you shouldnt be getting upset with this.
