Melissa asks: My 2.5 year old son has some quirky behaviors that boarder line possibly a mild sensory processing disorder. (Running in random circles while looking up and not easily distracted while doing this, rolling on the floor, very tuned in to background noises, has a fixation with lights and buttons to name a few) He is in therapy for speech delay and the Behavior Specialist there mentioned she wasnt worried about the behavior and suggested to redirect him to something else when behaviors start. I am a SAHM and I do see some of these behaviors affecting his play that take a lot of encouragement to distract him away from. Was wondering if anyone has any advise dealing with sensory behaviors. Also I have been researching chiropractic care for sensory disorders and was hoping to get some recommendations on a good chiropractor for young children and that work with sensory disorders. Thank you!
