Members of the SESDA team have been busy processing and archiving data from the Global Precipitation Mission (GPM). The goals of this important joint NASA/Japanese Aerospace Exploration Agency mission are to help advance our understanding of Earths water and energy cycles, improve the forecasting of extreme events that cause natural disasters, and extend current capabilities of using satellite precipitation information.
