So! Lets look at this for a moment, shall we? In that passage of Daniel, the WT loves to claim that Belshazars being told he was weighed in the scales and found to be deficient is a minor fulfillment of a major prophesy in our time. Namely, that Jehovah has weighed the nations and found them to be deficient. Well, this is where arrogance comes in. The WT has applied so many obscure texts from 2500 years ago to themselves, the arrogance is overwhelming. The truth is that the GB of JWs is completely incapable of handling the kinds of challenges handled by world leaders today. They dont know economics, political science, history, or much of anything, really. 90% of their knowledge is tied up in the WT. IN reality, the nations have weighed the WT and found them to be dust on the scales, not much of a threat at all to their sovereignty. They are considered a quirky bunch that cannot at all deal any sort of blow to the political powers. So theyre not going to waste resources on them. Dust on the scales. Deficient? As an engineering technician/land surveyor, I can attest to the complete lack of ability of the RBC to design infrastructure, which is why they have to hire worldly people to do it for them. Roads, sewers, storm drains, bridges, is out of their scope of ability. The GB are very simple-minded, ignorant, uninformed, backwards, misogynist, old men, completely out of touch with reality. They have no business governing anything. They are completely incompetent and incapable, besides being ethically challenged and socially inept. They would institute a JW inquisition, equal to Shariah Law if it were legal. But! They know they are subject to the laws of the land, and cannot stone anyone to death, but must rely on shunning instead. They know if their violation of accepted human rights crosses a threshold, they would be subject to legal action that would slow their growth and end their right to exist. Mene, mene, tekel, parsin.
