Merry Christmas to all of my Tom Petty Nation Brothers & Sisters. a QUESTION??????? What is the coolest Christmas youve ever received????? One that will always stand out is a CD that my wife, my girlfriend at the time, made for me. The kids and her took all my favorite songs and did a little narration before each song on how it became and important part of my life. Tom Petty was on there because I just loved his music. Lynyrd Skynyrd was on it because they were a local band when we live in Jacksonville Beach, FLA. I was lucky enough to see them play many times before they made it big. The first time was at a skating rink. And on and on and on and on. It was the perfect gift for me. Besides the CD being a great memory Kathy almost burning down her house while she was making it stands out. She was so into making the CD she forgot she was cooking. But the fire was put out and all was well.
