Message from a FL State District 5 Candidate: WHAT SAY YOU, Floridians??~ ***Legislators dont listen. If they did they would not pass bills that stop small business from doing great business. This week lets focus on 2 issues. 1. I visited Florida Restaurants. I asked if they could change one thing in Tally what would it be. The answer was: We want to buy food from Florida. 2. I went to Florida farmers and fisherman and asked, Do you sell food to Florida Restaurants. The answer was, NO. I was amazed. Why, I asked. The answer was because the regulations for sinks, waste, size, packaging, color, fertilizer, trucking, washing and more regulations make it too expensive. Fisherman told me that they were so limited in the amount of fish, many are now out of business. Result: Americans eat food from uninspected outlets overseas instead of Florida grown food. Florida loses revenue. Does anyone think that these foreign farms/fisheries in Mexico, Guatemala, China, etc follow these strict nonsense requirements? Yet this is what we are forced to eat. Think of all the dollars lost to Florida***
