To the readers; The NWT is what is called a ‘formal equivalence’ English translation, which means a formal equivalence (literal) translator will work with individual Greek words…, rather than work with blocks of words (dynamic equivalence) The NWT, though primarily a formal equivalence (literal) translation, it does slip into the role of a dynamic equivalence translation here and there and the reason for this is where a meaning of a word or phrase…miss be misunderstood or a bit cloudy for the reader, because of lack of familiarity of Greek idiom, the reader might misunderstand and get the wrong point, leading to confusion…! The NWT endeavours to stay as close to the original Greek, but be as free as necessary, whilst not remaining in the shadow of the KJV bible, which modern Trinitarian bible do…! To the readers, we are now awaiting point (3) of the 7!
