Michael Mike Richard Covington DUNMOR – Michael Mike Richard Covington, 57, died Saturday, Oct. 19, 2013 at Greenview Hospital in Bowling Green. Born in Bellville, Ill. Feb. 15, 1956, he was the son of the late Melvin Covington, Sr. and Margaret Sumner Covington. He was a former knitter at the Adairville Hosiery Mill. He was a member of Dunmor Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Ramona Grace Covington; two sons, Michael Scott Covington of Dunmor and Eric Shane Covington of Lewisburg; a daughter, Katina Marie Covington of Central City; six brothers, David Covington and Troy Covington, both of Lewisburg, Larry Covington of Franklin, Steve Covington of Sharon Grove, Ronnie Covington of Hopkinsville and Kenny Covington of Russellville; seven sisters, Ann Spohn of Adairville, Darlene Goodman, Debbie Covington, Betty Forgy, Kathy Irvin and Brenda Shutts, all of Lewisburg, and Jean Roe of Lancaster, Calif.; seven grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Oct. 23 at Price Funeral Home, Inc. in Lewisburg with the Rev. Jeremy Whitney officiating. Burial will follow in McPherson Cemetery in Todd County. Visitation will be after 5 p.m. Oct. 22 at the funeral home.
