Micheles yarns also have a great story! She has been custom blending these all natural, un-dyed yarns from the small family farms she has worked with over many years. Kind of like the Vintners who work with small farmers and do custom wine blending. So Toots LeBlanc & Co. yarns have a distinctive look and feel - and a special way of blooming after they are knit up (or woven up - her stuff is GREAT for weavers, too!). Along with her color names, she also provides the Year of the blend, as the same animals from the same farms provide slightly different colors year to year. The Terroir of yarn...which makes these yarns very special.
