Michelle Maher Michelle Maher is an award winning ceramic artist in practice since 2003. Her ceramic sculptures are an exploration of colour and texture. Microscopic organisms often inspire her work and unusual plant forms and the science behind living things continues to fascinate her. She is especially inspired when working on site-specific outdoor projects which allow her to respond to a particular environment or place. Water, both still and flowing, is something she is very passionate about and she often designs her ceramics to be installed in a water setting. Recent exhibition venues include The National Botanic Gardens, the Phoenix Park, Farmleigh House, Ardgillan Castle, Airfield House, Brigit’s Gardens, Rathfarnham Castle and Blarney Castle. Michelle has been commissioned for many collaborative public art projects in recent years in addition to teaching private ceramic courses from her studio. More info--->ceramicforms/
