Micromax Confirms Canvas Turbo, Appoints Hugh Jackman as Brand Ambassador... Rumors on the next Micromax flagship smartphone surfaced earlier this month, but aside from a few specs that haven’t been confirmed yet, we had nothing to speculate on. Well, it appears that Micromax has been pretty secretive with a reason. The Indian company plans to go big on the smartphone business, which is one of the reasons it has appointed superstar Hugh Jackman as brand ambassador. The Hollywood actor has been chosen by Micromax to introduce the upcoming Canvas Turbo high-end smartphone that we heard about a few weeks ago. “I am extremely thrilled and honored to be part of the Micromax family. I am a huge lover of India as it is one of the most exciting countries in the world and we also share our love for cricket. Phones are genuinely time saving devices that can help you live a better life while juggling around with different situations. “The new Canvas phone from Micromax is a leap in innovation with great sense of fun and amazing features that helps me balance my work with all the different roles that I play in my everyday life,” said Hugh Jackman. According to Micromax, Canvas Turbo will be launched in India very soon, but the company did not offer any details on the phone’s specs sheet.
