Midnight Musing 2 Last week I had a long chat with a mother who was very worried for her first-year college son who is an introvert and does not see the need to mix around.. Believe it or not, this is the conversation that followed: Mother : I am so worried for him lah Martin and so I decided to do something about it. MJ: Huh? And what did you do...or could you do!? Mother: I followed him to school woh...I used to go earlier before school...er...college, began...I got to know all the students in his class... MJ: Really? You followed him to college! But how did that help? Mother: I introduced them all to my son mah, I told them my son is a actually really nice boy, shy, but once you know him...you will sure like him MJ: So...how did they react? Mother: Dont know lah, but I even got to take down some of their HP nos.!! MJ: They gave aah? Mother: Of course lah, But my son very naughty (very sui chai), I give him their phone nos. and his phone no. to them, and then when they call haah, he says: Mum, YOUR fren calling u! What to do like that? MJ: Dunno! Ay, sorry I have to take another call...pl tell your son I am praying very hard for him! Mother: .....ok ok waah u very good lah pray for him! MJ: (Puts phone down: Lord, please deliver him from his mother!) Sigh!
