Midnight Run: Second Run of the Year On Friday, December 5th, 24 eager students traveled to NYC as part of their work with Midnight Run. This was the second run of the year. In preparation for the Midnight Run, students in Grades 6-8 prepared over 100 dinners consisting of peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, clementines, granola bars and juice packs. In addition, students sorted clothing and packed toiletries for the group to deliver to the men and women who call the city streets home. With the help of parent drivers, the group left IMS for the city at 9 pm. Once in the city, the group made multiple stops bringing much needed supplies as well as friendship and laughter to the wonderful men and women of the streets of New York. A truly amazing and invaluable learning experience!
