The story in a moment…The Information Technology and Innovation Foundation reports that American companies are in hot competition with European competitors for their share of the growing cloud computing market. But the NSA’s just dealt a big blow to American companies. Now, their potential customers are all wondering if the data they trust to American-based cloud computer storage is going to be secure, or is the NSA going to control it and be constantly snooping through it? The think tank calculates that that suspicion could cost big US tech companies up to $35 billion in lost business over the next three years.
