Mike Taylor writes from Bangui: He broke my heart, hard to hold - TopicsExpress

Mike Taylor writes from Bangui: He broke my heart, hard to hold back the tears I type and at times harder to hold back the anger. He could be my kid. He is 16 years old. He came in using a hand made crutch. His left knee was bandaged. He slowly unwrapped the bandage saving all of it for re-application. The wound was clean, deep, and had a jagged piece of his femur sticking out of it. This kid has suffered with a fracture of the femur for 8 months in the bush. He traveled to Bangui in a cramped autocar for 24 hours being forced by bad elements to get in and out of the car for identity checks and bribes. I cannot image the pain, the bone edge was so jagged. He was beaten severely by bad elements just because and for no other reason. He is an orphan to boot and was with his adopted grandfather. How did a kid from the bush find us on our very first day? It can only be God because I promised that boy, we WILL see him through this for the best possible outcome. Want to help us? Donate here: https://e-giving.org/egivinglogin.asp?id=3555
