Mikey is a two position starter for the Pittsburg Junior Varsity, offensive tackle and defensive lineman. The team is playing tremendously well this season with two 2-0 victories, and have scored over 100 points to six points against their opponents. Lastgame on a punt return squad he caught the ball which was high just behind the line. His first instinct was to run the ball rather than down the ball--he gained about 2/3 yards before he was tackled from behind. I was cheering for him torun hard and at the same time kept praying not to fumble especially during the pile up! Our side was cheering for him, "Go Mikey, Go"! It was not meant to be! Oh well.
