Milestone #2: (together with Mr. Douglas Thng) The remaining teacher of our era: 1. Mr. Loh Chee Seng (former teacher of sec 1/6 - 1989, taught chinese and math, Also NCC CO during that era). Hes now on flexi-contract scheme, some of the days he will not be in GSS, so luckily he is in today managed to get hold of him! He now teaches maths, and do some admin. I showed him our gathering photos and he said he remember kangwei ( Gary Goo!), always used to go to his house! He also remember Xu Zhenlin, Zhu Li Na, and a tall girl, whom according to him, married off to KL. 2. Mr. Chiu Fook Weng (NPCC CO, and Technical Teacher). Hes on yearly contract scheme. We was also informed of sad news of Mr. Nathan , and Mr. Sivan (Discipline master of our era, before Mr. Chiu). 3. Mdm Ho. (Never taught me before , but she should be teaching literature in that era). SHe was busy and was rushing for a lesson, didntnt manage to speak to her. 4. An a malay staff in technical lesson, Sorry cannot rem his name but seen his face before. 5. Last but no least, not a teacher, but Ah Tek, open glass bottle coke, pepsi. walk around with a glass bottle opener!. Guys/Girls, there is a Heritage Room in GSS. Mr. Chiu would be glad to have some contributions of the DSTS/GSS. I will go back and dig and see what i have. Last but no least, there will be a Alumni gathering next year, probably mid year. Ill be getting in touch with 1 of the committee member (Mr. See Shiok Runner ), and see how we can contribute. Cheers. 21-Aug-2014
