Military’s good friend former Congressman (D-PA) and Iraq War veteran Patrick Murphy sits down with actor and activist Martin Sheen in the next monthly edition of MSNBC’s “Taking the Hill.” Sheen, who is an Ambassador for the National Association of Drug Court Professionals (NADCP) and whose brother is a Vietnam veteran, tells MSNBC contributor Murphy, “…Drug Court veterans that are coming in [are] because of other veterans who have gone through the program and have become mentors.” Murphy and Sheen also discuss the importance of group recovery for struggling veterans – and how sharing their stories publicly can help.
