Militia Are Anarchist? Obviously, who ever it is spreading this - TopicsExpress

Militia Are Anarchist? Obviously, who ever it is spreading this rumor doesn’t know what they are talking about. Or, they’re deliberately spreading false propaganda. A Constitutional Militia is just the contrary. We want to uphold the Constitution as the “supreme Law of the Land”. So if we’re determined to maintain “law and order”, that doesn’t fit the definition of anarchy. So who is spreading this rumor? It could be any one, or any group that doesn’t want to be held to the Constitution of the United States, at least not as it is written. And why spread such a rumor? The term “anarchy” conjures up all sorts of scary scenarios for society. One of the definitions for it is “a society in a state of lawlessness”. However, no such condition could ever exist, because the “Laws of Human Nature/Behavior” are always in force and self-enforcing. Granted, the consequences of ignoring/violating said laws would probably be far more brutal if it weren’t for mans written laws. That indeed, would be quite horrifying for many folks. So, calling a group a bunch of anarchist is basically a fear mongering tactic used to “demonize” another group that may pose a threat to ones own ideology. The Libertarian Party has been labeled as “anarchists” as well, by both the Liberal Democrats and conservative Republicans alike, largely due to one of the planks of that Party’s platform, That plank states that they believe everyone should be able to “do as they please” as long as they do no harm to anyone else or violate the rights of others. Allot of Christian Conservatives don’t like that idea, and often claim that “anarchy” would arise from this. The fact is, they simply don’t want to see anyone do something that they don’t agree with. Some conservatives have totalitarian leanings without knowing it. Now, who would this fear mongering propaganda be the most affective with? Any one that is currently benefiting from any of the many social programs in his country. The elderly receiving SSI “supplemental” retirement, those drawing disability, Welfare recipients, etc. Constitutionally, none of these social programs should be in existence today. So naturally, these folks are all going to feel threatened by a “constitutional” militia, considering that if we could actually bring our country back into compliance with the Constitution. Also a concern is that to come back into compliance of the Constitution, we’d have to repeal a great number of laws (Fed, State, Local) that are currently on the books and being enforced today. There’s allot of folks that would not want to see those laws done away with. There are some that might believe that to do so would inspire anarchy. It wouldn’t but it would place more responsibilities on the shoulders of the people, as individuals. Such as for our own safety and welfare/sustenance. A great number of people in this country (and Perry County) don’t want that burden imposed on them, and will likely throw one hell of a nasty hissy fit, if it is. Yep, that could bare some resemblance to anarchy alright, but that is what a Constitutional Militia will be needed for. To help maintain law and order. We’re also obligated to defend ourselves and the people from tyranny, whether it be from government or criminals. Jerry Morris
